Mahogany Tarot features the classic tarot artwork originally illustrated in 1909 by Pamela Colman Smith under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite, with additional illustrations by creator Kasheera Hickson.
Created with the intention of bringing greater diversity and representation to tarot, the additional illustrations portray Black and Brown people of the African and Indigenous diaspora while remaining true to the symbolism and structure of the traditional deck.
Mahogany Tarot is created by a Black-owned, family-owned small business based in California, proudly offering beautiful, reimagined representation for people of color within the tarot community.
